Keynote Speaking

I am a confident public speaker and have experience presenting to a range of audiences, on a broad field of subjects over the course of my career. I have frequently spoke as a keynote speaker at national conferences including the NWG conference 2017, Basis Yorkshire Conference 2019 and numerous commercially organised conferences.

Presentations

I am equally confident delivering presentations to groups of professionals, utilising PowerPoint and similar software to enhance learner experience. I use multiple media types to ensure different learning styles are catered for, as well as ensuring sessions are interactive when requested. I have recently presented to an All China Women’s delegation on the UK’s response to child exploitation.

Audiences

I have experience of speaking at events to a range of audiences from expert peers and colleagues in the field of adolescent vulnerability, to communities, members of the public and school children. In each case I tailor both my style and content to ensure it is as engaging as possible for the specific audience.

Working with Interpreters

I have experience of presenting to audiences for whom English is a second language, with audiences ranging from marginalised communities to international delegation drawn from senior representatives. I am confident working alongside interpreters.
